Greer Hansen, Psy.D., received her doctoral degree in psychology from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She specialized in child and adolescent psychotherapy, psychological assessment, cross-cultural psychology, and expressive therapies. Dr. Greer completed her psychology internship and post-doctoral training at the Child and Family Guidance Center in Northridge, CA, where she received extensive training and experience working with children, adolescents, and families in crisis. She is certified in treatment interventions backed by the most up-to-date research, advanced psychological evaluations, and forensic assessments.

Dr. Greer has worked with clients of all ages and backgrounds in various treatment settings throughout greater Washington, D.C. and Southern California. She has shown many children, adolescents, adults, and families how to live life with joy and ease. Dr. Greer has worked with children in schools and community mental health settings. She completed a pre-doctoral externship at an Elementary School in Maryland using biofeedback therapy and child-centered expressive therapies (play therapy, art therapy, and sand tray therapy). Dr. Greer has worked in residential treatment settings across the U.S. helping adolescents overcome extensive emotional, behavioral, and substance abuse issues. She worked with adults at the George Washington University Center Clinic and she has extensive experience conducting therapy groups focused on: increasing positive coping and self-esteem, improving relationships, and healing from self-destructive behaviors (substance abuse, eating issues, self-harming behaviors, and suicidal thoughts).
